Youtube vs video host I am just starting to get into making videos for my website. I am on the fence about if I will use youtube or a video host.
The good part about youtube is it is free; they give you unlimited bandwidth they send you traffic. The bad part is that when you click the video playing on your website it takes your visitor to youtube and you may never see that visitor again. This is not completely bad because you lose all visitors eventually but when you lose them this way you know you will not make any money. Another thing I don’t like is that anyone can embed your video that you spent hours making on their website or anywhere else they chose. Also it may look a little unprofessional although we are getting so used to youtube it will not even dawn on most people.
The bad part about a video host obviously is that it cost and you have to choose a plan with enough bandwidth. I have no idea how much bandwidth I would need. I plan to make at least 30 videos and the first two ended up being around 80 MB. I don’t know for sure but I fell like this will take a lot of bandwidth and cost a lot.
I would like to get some opinions on what I should do.
Youtube is all time good, when you are looking for uploading websites. Video host would require an ample web space in order to upload videos. You need not take headache of webspace.
Franky speaking this is the first time that I hear about video host. Youtube is just the best, put up your video there, it can be used as great marketing tool as well.
